Acure Organics Review (Skin Care)

I thought I’d do a little review on some skincare producs I’ve been trying out from the company Acure Organics. I thought it seemed like a really great company both etichally and the ingredients they use to make their line.

I bought these three products one by one and tried them over the span of about a year and a half, and the first thing I tried was the scrub.

Brightening Facial Scrub: Argan Stem Cell + Chlorella Growth Factor

acurescrub

  • Gently removes dirt and oil with nourishing exfoliation
  • Feeds and restores cells
  • Stimulates new cell growth with 1% Chlorella Growth Factor
  • Brightens complexion
  • Great for all skin types
  • Paraben free, Vegan, Gluten free, Synthetic fragrance free, Silicone free, Phthalate free
  • Fair trade certified ingredients

I was looking for a facial scrub and I noticed this was the best selling on Iherb at the time so I figured I’d give it a go. It’s a really reasonable price and same as the other two products in this review, I really love that it doesn’t have any harmful ingrients. In fact, I think the ingredients Acure uses for their products are really great! So much so it has become one of my favorite brands.

It has quite a thick grainy consistency, but it’s not at all harsh and even though my skin can be a bit sensitive is doesn’t irritate it at all. It’s the first scrub I’ve tried that has actually worked for me. It leaves my skin nice and smooth after I’ve used it (about 2-3 times a week).

I’m really impressed with this product and if you are looking for a more natural facial scrub I can really recommend it.

I bought it here.  $8.49

Day Cream: Gotu Kola Stem Cell + 1% Chroella Growth Factor

acureday

  • Provides all day, easily absorbed protection
  • Feeds and restores cells
  • Protects against free radical damage
  • For normal to dry skin
  • Paraben free, Vegan, Gluten free, Synthetic fragrance free, Silicone free, Phthalate free
  • Fair trade certified ingredients

Next I tried this moisturizer. I have oily combination skin and it is a little bit too heavy for me, but it didn’t clog my pores or break me out at all so I used the whole tube and was really happy with it. It does have a really citrusy smell, but I personally don’t mind.

I bought it here.  $14.99

Oil Control Facial Moisturizer: Lilac Stem Cells + 1% Chlorella Growth Factor

acureoilcontrol

  • Leaves skin smooth and soft
  • Feeds and restores cells
  • Protects against free radical damage
  • Great for normal/combo to oily skin
  • Paraben free, Vegan, Gluten free, Synthetic fragrance free, Silicone free, Phthalate free
  • Fair trade certified ingredients

This is the last product I got and I’ve been using it for about two months or so. Its not like other “for oily skin” creams I’ve used before, it’s a bit thicker. Even so, it doesn’t give me any problems and I think it’s a good moisturizer. I could imagine it’s extra helpful in the winter (for people with oilier skin). The only thing I don’t particularly like about this cream is the smell! I can’t put my finger on what scent it is, but it’s quite strong. It’s not awful and it goes away after a little while, it’s just not my cup of tea.

I bought it here.  $15.99

(Just for clarity I wish to add that this is not a sponsored post.)

So there you have my little review on these products. I hope it’s helpful if you were thinking about trying them. I love sharing when I discover and try more natural, eco-friendly, safe products. I also like to make my own, I’d like to share the recipes aswell in another blog post, hopefully soon 🙂

xx Caroline.

First Post

Hello everyone!

This is my little introduction post here on my blog. I’ll keep it short and sweet! I’m just so excited and happy to have my little site on here 😀

By the way, I would never have this site if it wasn’t for my amazing guy Jack who helped me (/did everything lol!)  😀

I’m really happy to have this opportunity to share things I’m passionate about, posting plant based recipes, DIY skincare/beauty recipes and the like.

I also have to admit I’m a bit shy about things like this, but it’s always good to extend your comfort zone a little, or so I think. hehe.

Big hugs xx
